Spectators: 7335 (Terracing: 5503, Seating: 1687, VIP seats: 145) Osvald Kvalfält's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Birger Göransson read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 3rd minute of play. In the 6thth minute of the game Lukas Njurenius who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ekeby's Birger Göransson was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 9 minutes into the match, Ekeby's goal looked a bit too open when Lukas Njurenius came free, but Birger Göransson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Sandhem booed when Ekeby was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jonny Bergqvist didn't get a good kick on the ball. Arvin Mellbad shot a long shot in the 12th minute and a light blocked Birger Göransson hadn't a chance when the ball went into goal on his right side. It was 0-1. Lukas Njurenius received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Birger Göransson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Birger Göransson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Osvald Kvalfält in the 26th minute of play. After 26 minutes, Jonny Bergqvist mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ekeby and the Sandhem players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 26th minute, Jonny Bergqvist hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jonny Bergqvist hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. After 30 played minutes, Sandhem's Arvin Mellbad shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Birger Göransson came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Sandhem reached it. Birger Göransson came out of the goal in the 34th minute to try and stop a shot by Sandhem's Osvald Kvalfält. But to his dismay, Osvald Kvalfält quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. Birger Göransson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lukas Njurenius in the 40th minute of the match. Per Pettersson charged in rather forcefully in the 42nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Per Pettersson the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Sandhem's Per Pettersson got a free kick in the 42nd minute. Lukas Njurenius fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Birger Göransson having to interfere. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

Alfred Lindholm showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Henrik Viberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Ekeby's zone, Osvald Kvalfält stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Birger Göransson came out of the goal and Osvald Kvalfält tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Sandhem's Osvald Kvalfält in the 64th minute got a chance for a shot 64th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Ekeby's goalie prevented a goal. Sven-Edvin Vase's late challenge caught a Sandhem's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Sven-Edvin Vase helped the player get up and apologised. In the 66th minute, Sven-Edvin Vase hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Emanuel Holmberg kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. 73 minutes into the match, Sandhem's goal looked a bit too open when Sven-Ove Lingren came free, but Alfred Lindholm reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Sven-Ove Lingren had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. A nice corner shot did that Arvin Mellbad got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Birger Göransson quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. 86 minutes in the game, the ball went up into the seats when Sandhem's Lukas Njurenius fired away a shot that was just a little bit too high. He walked away shaking his head. Lukas Njurenius fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Birger Göransson having to interfere. Albin Stolpe recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 90th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. During the 91st minute of the match Sven-Edvin Vase completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Sven-Edvin Vase a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Sven-Edvin Vase kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. Birger Göransson made an important save on a dangerous shot by Lukas Njurenius in the 95th minute.
