Spectators: 6817 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1673, VIP seats: 144) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Olof Nilsson kicked off to start the match. In the 9th match minute, Astro FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Christer Berg to maneuver through the defense. Olof Nilsson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 14th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 18th minute, Håkan Hellbom got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Olof Nilsson struck a weak shot in the 20th minute. Dan Siggesson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Lekeryd. If Olof Nilsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Dan Siggesson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Olof Nilsson in the 32nd minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Olof Nilsson in the 33rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Dan Siggesson saved Astro FC from getting behind. Håkan Hellbom received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Dan Siggesson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 37 minutes into the game, Stig-Åke Fogel cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Dan Siggesson was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Olof Nilsson took the ball and in the 41 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Dan Siggesson. Dan Siggesson dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Olof Nilsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Christer Berg made a kick off. When Olof Nilsson came up free with the goalie in the 52nd minute, the Lekeryd fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Olof Nilsson couldn't finish the play. Sören Bruhn blasted a shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Dan Siggesson having to make a save. Allan Karlberg's late challenge caught a Astro FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Allan Karlberg helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Astro FC booed when Lekeryd was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Allan Karlberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 81st minute, Olof Nilsson managed to get in a good position for a shot. Lekeryd's supporters rose to their feet, but Olof Nilsson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dan Siggesson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With a little luck, Astro FC's Dan Siggesson got control of the ball when Olof Nilsson tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 95th minute, Astro FC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Olof Nilsson fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Lekeryd's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
