He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Lajksjöberg reached it. After 18 played minutes Storebro IK got a freekick which was hit by Philip Viklund. Lajksjöberg's Thomas Blomberg got a good chance for a goal in the 18th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Lajksjöberg's Alfons Bergqvist got a good chance for a goal in the 21st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 23 minutes of play, Lajksjöberg's Olov Åberg made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Agne Pilblad was left in no man's land by his defense there! When Olov Åberg came up free with the goalie in the 26th minute, the Lajksjöberg fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Olov Åberg couldn't finish the play. A collision led to Storebro IK getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Harald Petersson hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Olov Åberg in the 30th minute of play forced Storebro IK's goalkeeper Agne Pilblad to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 31st minute of the match Lajksjöberg got a corner. Storebro IK's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Thomas Blomberg ran over to the corner to take the kick. Thomas Blomberg made a great header on Lajksjöberg's corner, it was just that Storebro IK's Agne Pilblad managed to reach the ball for a save. In the 33rdth minute of the game Hampus Lundqvist who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Lajksjöberg's Anselmo Rius was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The audience was convinced that Alfons Bergqvist's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Agne Pilblad was relentless in the 35th minute of the game. When Harald Petersson fell near the penalty area in the 46th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Storebro IK's protests and gave Harald Petersson a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Storebro IK getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Harald Petersson hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 47th minute, Alfons Bergqvist managed to get in a good position for a shot. Lajksjöberg's supporters rose to their feet, but Alfons Bergqvist was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Agne Pilblad breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Hampus Lundqvist to make the kick off. In the 53rd minute, Alfons Bergqvist ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Agne Pilblad was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. 56 minutes into the match, Alfons Bergqvist had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Agne Pilblad. Storebro IK's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Alfons Bergqvist was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-4. Anselmo Rius made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Axel Överman in the 60th minute of play. Lajksjöberg's Anselmo Rius played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hampus Lundqvist in the 70th minute of play. 72 minutes into the match, Axel Överman notched a goal, 1-5, to the right of Lajksjöberg's Anselmo Rius. Anselmo Rius was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The audience was convinced that Alfons Bergqvist's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Agne Pilblad was relentless in the 75th minute of the game. The supporters of Lajksjöberg booed when Storebro IK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Harald Petersson didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Alfons Bergqvist in the 78th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Agne Pilblad prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Thomas Dusett came up free with the goalie in the 81st minute, the Lajksjöberg fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Thomas Dusett couldn't finish the play. Alfons Bergqvist could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 89th minute of the match, but Agne Pilblad made a huge save. Alfons Bergqvist fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Agne Pilblad having to interfere.
