Åke Lindell made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomas Gernberg in the 7th minute of play. Åke Lindell didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Tomas Gernberg went, in the 8th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Tomas Gernberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Åke Lindell having to interfere. Jens Pil showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Morgan Hägg in the 32nd minute of the match. Slutarp's Sven-Olof Algren got a good chance for a goal in the 33rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Morgan Hägg in the 35th minute of play forced Salabackar United's goalkeeper Jens Pil to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Olof Hellström received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Åke Lindell tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Slutarp's Nicklas Gadd got a free kick in the 42nd minute. From a short distance, Salabackar United's Olof Hellström, in the 43rd minute, tried to place the ball behind Åke Lindell, but the ball hit the right post on the wrong side and went out. After a rather tough play, Salabackar United's David Henriksson got a free kick in the 44th minute. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Morgan Hägg was the one to do the kick off. 51 minutes into the game, Per Österberg was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Salabackar United's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Slutarp the free kick. The supporters of Slutarp booed when Salabackar United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Per Österberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. Slutarp's Mattias Isaksson was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Jens Pil in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. 59 minutes in the game, Morgan Hägg fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Jens Pil having to interfere. In the 61st minute Morgan Hägg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jens Pil saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jens Pil took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Morgan Hägg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 71st minute the ball was on its way in behind Salabackar United's goalkeeper Jens Pil, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Jens Pil made an important save on a dangerous shot by Sven-Olof Algren in the 75th minute. Olof Hellström fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Åke Lindell having to interfere. 78 minutes into the game, Per-Erik Lindgren was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Slutarp's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Salabackar United the free kick. In the 78th match minute, Slutarp was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Per-Erik Lindgren to maneuver through the defense. In the 79th minute, Adrian Vallengren sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Slutarp's Åke Lindell didn't even have to move. Åke Lindell took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Olof Hellström, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Slutarp's Åke Lindell played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomas Gernberg in the 91st minute of play. In the 92nd minute Olof Hellström shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Åke Lindell saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tomas Gernberg took the ball and in the 95 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Åke Lindell. Åke Lindell dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Salabackar United had played much better football throughout.
