Krister Bengtsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Viktor Västlund, who was totally free with the ball in the 5th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Olov Walmarsson in the 13th minute of play forced Kåge's goalkeeper Tord Alrot to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Viktor Västlund in the 15th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Krister Bengtsson saved Muskö IK from getting behind. When Kåge's Viktor Västlund in the 22nd minute got a chance for a shot 22nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Muskö IK's goalie prevented a goal. After 25 minutes of play, Kåge's Inge Lange made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Krister Bengtsson was left in no man's land by his defense there! Viktor Västlund sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Kåge's Viktor Västlund got a good chance for a goal in the 33rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Kåge's Bengt-Arne Hybbert got a free kick in the 34th minute. In the 36th minute of the match Kasper Hjeltman shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Tord Alrot showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Viktor Västlund struck a weak shot in the 44th minute. Krister Bengtsson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Kåge. 46 minutes into the game, Einar Ekström threw the ball into play from the sideline. Kåge's Emanuel Eriksson quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. After some careless play in the Muskö IK defense, Viktor Västlund kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Krister Bengtsson. The Muskö IK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Krister Bengtsson should have stopped the shot. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

If Viktor Västlund had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 57 minutes, Emanuel Eriksson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Kåge's supporters crossed their fingers, but Emanuel Eriksson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Viktor Västlund received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Krister Bengtsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Kåge booed when Muskö IK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kasper Hjeltman didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 73 minutes, Kasper Hjeltman mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Muskö IK and the Kåge players grew even worse after the yellow card. Kåge's Gösta Blom was substituted for Jim Engström. 77 minutes into the game, Bengt-Arne Hybbert was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Kåge's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Muskö IK the free kick. In the 77th match minute, Kåge was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bengt-Arne Hybbert to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 78th minute, Kasper Hjeltman managed to get in a good position for a shot. Muskö IK's supporters rose to their feet, but Kasper Hjeltman was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tord Alrot breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Viktor Västlund blasted a shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Krister Bengtsson having to make a save. A collision led to Kåge getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Kjell-Arne Carlberg hit a great ball. If Viktor Västlund had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Kåge's Bengt-Arne Hybbert got a free kick in the 93rd minute. After recieving a nice pass, Muskö IK's Kasper Hjeltman tried to score from far away in the 94th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. When the match was over Kåge could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Muskö IK throughout the match.
