Skellefteå's Robin Målare got a good chance for a goal in the 36th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a very even first half the match was still tied. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Daniel Olsson made a kick off. In the 53rd minute, Daniel Nyman got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ingemar Jansson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Nyman in the 55th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Skellefteå's zone, Birger Nyman stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ingemar Jansson came out of the goal and Birger Nyman tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Robin Målare sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Degerfors FK getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Stig Lindgren hit a great ball. Joakim Benett took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Olsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Daniel Nyman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 72 played minutes Skellefteå got a freekick which was hit by Alfred Vallgren. Birger Nyman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Birger Nyman recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 79th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 81 minutes into the match, Skellefteå's goal looked a bit too open when Birger Nyman came free, but Ingemar Jansson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Skellefteå's Thomas Lennartsson got a free kick in the 89th minute. If Daniel Nyman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute.
