Kenny Törnkvist breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 17 minutes into the match, Burrans Barrare's goalkeeper Mats Holm had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gustaf Bröms. Christoffer Stephansson hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. Mats Holm was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 20th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Jens-Erik Lindström. Jens-Ola Brun's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Kenny Törnkvist read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 23rd minute of play. Simon Sandberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Kenny Törnkvist tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Rikard Brummer to strike the kick off in the second half. If Rikard Brummer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Simon Sandberg who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 71stth minute tested the skills of Kenny Törnkvist when he managed to save the team from getting behind. A collision led to Burrans Barrare getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Arvid Lööf hit a great ball. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Mats Holm showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 94th minute, Burrans Barrare's Christian Jönsätt seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Christian Jönsätt the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Burrans Barrare protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Christian Jönsätt had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 94th minute of the game. One of Burrans Barrare:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Vellinge:s goal. Jens-Erik Lindström walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. Burrans Barrare played a much better game than Vellinge and deserved their victory. The Vellinge players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
