When Rikard Brummer came up free with the goalie in the 6th minute, the Vellinge fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rikard Brummer couldn't finish the play. Patrik Hydén sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Kenny Törnkvist showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Patrik Hydén in the 14th minute of the match. When Sven-Arne Carlsson came up free with the goalie in the 18th minute, the Ingelstad fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sven-Arne Carlsson couldn't finish the play. Kenny Törnkvist took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Patrik Hydén, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 27th minute Rikard Brummer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Konrad Henriksson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After taking down the ball on Vellinge's corner Jens-Erik Lindström fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Konrad Henriksson quite easily take care of the ball. After 30 minutes, Sven-Arne Carlsson mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ingelstad and the Vellinge players grew even worse after the yellow card. Sven-Arne Carlsson hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. After some careless play in the Ingelstad defense, Gustaf Bröms kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Konrad Henriksson. The Ingelstad fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Konrad Henriksson should have stopped the shot. Gustaf Bröms could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 35th minute of the match, but Konrad Henriksson made a huge save. After some fancy dribbling in the 38th minute, Patrik Hydén managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ingelstad's supporters rose to their feet, but Patrik Hydén was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Kenny Törnkvist breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Rikard Brummer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Konrad Henriksson having to interfere. When Sven-Arne Carlsson came up free with the goalie in the 47th minute, the Ingelstad fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sven-Arne Carlsson couldn't finish the play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Patrik Hydén was the one to do the kick off. Gustaf Bröms fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Konrad Henriksson having to interfere. Rikard Brummer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Vellinge's Torbjörn Gallin got a free kick in the 67th minute. Patrik Hydén recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 70th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Gustaf Bröms came up free with the goalie in the 77th minute, the Vellinge fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gustaf Bröms couldn't finish the play. After 79 minutes of play, Vellinge's Gustaf Bröms made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Konrad Henriksson was left in no man's land by his defense there! Rikard Brummer might have been able to make a better finish in the 86th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Konrad Henriksson. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Rikard Brummer ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 90th minute, Sven-Arne Carlsson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After having played for 95 minutes, Gustaf Bröms managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Vellinge's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gustaf Bröms was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.
