After having played for 11 minutes, Åke Söderquist managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Styrsö's supporters crossed their fingers, but Åke Söderquist was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Bengt Fastesson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 14th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 20 minutes into the match, Styrsö's goal looked a bit too open when Bengt Fastesson came free, but Jim Hydén reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Karl-Magnus Beneth hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. Jim Hydén took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marc Blom, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 23 minutes into the game, Marc Blom cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. The Torpshammar IF fans' excitement grew in the 38th match minute when Torpshammar IF's Marc Blom looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-4 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Torpshammar IF's Bengt Fastesson got a good chance for a goal in the 41st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 43rd minute Bengt Fastesson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jim Hydén saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 43 minutes into the match, Bengt Fastesson notched a goal, 0-5, to the right of Styrsö's Jim Hydén. Jim Hydén was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 47 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Styrsö! The referee gave Torpshammar IF a penalty, 49 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Ingmar Torstensson, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Styrsö's Jim Hydén. 0-6.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Marc Blom was the one to do the kick off. Marc Blom sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 59th minute, Karl-Magnus Beneth hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A hard shot by Ingmar Torstensson from long distance, 60 minutes into the match, got Jim Hydén's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Marc Blom fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jim Hydén having to interfere. Christian Bennet fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nicklas Salqvist having to interfere. 70 minutes into the game, Bengt-Arne Lundblad was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Torpshammar IF's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Styrsö the free kick. In the 70th minute, Bengt-Arne Lundblad hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 77 played minutes Styrsö got a freekick which was hit by Mats Bållström. Nicklas Salqvist took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Christian Bennet, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sakarias Söderström charged in rather forcefully in the 81st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Sakarias Söderström the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Nicklas Salqvist took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Åke Söderquist, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Torpshammar IF's Bengt Fastesson in 84 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. Jim Hydén guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. Bengt Fastesson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Marc Blom sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marc Blom in the 90th minute of play forced Styrsö's goalkeeper Jim Hydén to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Åke Söderquist in the 92nd minute of play forced Torpshammar IF's goalkeeper Nicklas Salqvist to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Torpshammar IF's Sakarias Söderström got his second yellow card of the match in the 97th minute. The referee ordered Sakarias Söderström off the ground. Sakarias Söderström hit a great freekick 99 minutes into the match. Torpshammar IF's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
