Ragnar Ryberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Sten Häll tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 18th minute Börje Nordlander shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sten Häll saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Börje Nordlander kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Sten Häll. That made the score 1-0 in the 19 minute of play. In the 23rd minute, Börje Nordlander left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Bloom FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. After a rather tough play, Bloom FC's Verner Björklund got a free kick in the 26th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Stig-Ove Eklund in the 28th minute of play forced Bloom FC's goalkeeper Nils-Åke Flinck to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Börje Nordlander's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Sten Häll read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 30th minute of play. The supporters of Bloom FC booed when Sköldinge IF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marcus Thidén didn't get a good kick on the ball. 42 minutes into the match, Bloom FC's Börje Nordlander sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Sten Häll narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Sköldinge IF's Sten Häll proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 47th minute of the match, managed to save Sköldinge IF from getting a goal against them.

The wind increased when Börje Nordlander made the kick off in the second half. Sten Häll showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ragnar Ryberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. Peter Jernberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Börje Nordlander might have been able to make a better finish in the 59th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Sten Häll. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Börje Nordlander ran back to his position shaking his head. After a defensive mix-up in Sköldinge IF's zone, Ragnar Ryberg stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sten Häll came out of the goal and Ragnar Ryberg tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Ragnar Ryberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Börje Nordlander recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 70th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 72nd minute, Alf Nyström got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Börje Nordlander in the 73rd minute of play forced Sköldinge IF's goalkeeper Sten Häll to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
