Spectators: 6675 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1675, VIP seats: 0) Sten Vennerström started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. If Roland Nord had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 8th minute, Ronny Henriksson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Sköldinge IF's Sten Häll played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Roland Nord in the 12th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Ärla's Sven-Åke Dahlqvist got a free kick in the 13th minute. Gilbert Telin came out of the goal in the 21st minute to try and stop a shot by Sköldinge IF's Peter Jernberg. But to his dismay, Peter Jernberg quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. After a defensive mix-up in Ärla's zone, Peter Jernberg stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gilbert Telin came out of the goal and Peter Jernberg tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, Ärla's Knut Björklund got a free kick in the 26th minute. 27 minutes into the match, Sköldinge IF's Sven Lindgren broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Sten Häll showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sten Vennerström in the 38th minute of the match. 40 minutes into the match, Ärla's goal looked a bit too open when Peter Jernberg came free, but Gilbert Telin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Ärla's zone, Peter Jernberg stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gilbert Telin came out of the goal and Peter Jernberg tried to chip the ball over his head. After 52 played minutes Sköldinge IF got a freekick which was hit by Georg Siöberg. Roland Nord fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sten Häll having to interfere. Roland Nord sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sverker Hääger hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. Sten Vennerström sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 70 minutes into the match, Sköldinge IF's goal looked a bit too open when Sten Vennerström came free, but Sten Häll reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sten Häll showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Roland Nord, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. Ronny Henriksson kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. After 73 minutes of play, Ärla's Sten Vennerström made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Sten Häll was left in no man's land by his defense there! A collision led to Ärla getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Johnny Örnberg hit a great ball. Peter Jernberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gilbert Telin having to interfere. With a little luck, Ärla's Gilbert Telin got control of the ball when Stig-Ove Eklund tried to sneak it across the goal line. Johnny Örnberg charged in rather forcefully in the 91st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Johnny Örnberg the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 92 played minutes Ärla got a freekick which was hit by Johnny Örnberg. The crowd rose to their feet as Peter Jernberg kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Gilbert Telin. That made the score 2-3 in the 93 minute of play.
