To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and John Högström made a kick off. Sten Vennerström sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Norsborgs IF's Johan Vennerström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sten Vennerström in the 59th minute of play. 67 minutes into the match, Norsborgs IF's goal looked a bit too open when Sten Vennerström came free, but Johan Vennerström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Roland Nord had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Chants of Norsborgs IF echoed around the stadium as the match drew to a close. Supporters and players were both delighted with the win, as Ärla had held the ball for most of the match.
