The Sköldinge IF fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Sten Häll should have stopped the shot. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 2-2 after a close first half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Hjalmar Blomberg stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Nils-Åke Lindström kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. Ekshärad FK's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Stig-Ove Eklund was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-2. Stig-Ove Eklund ran back to his position shaking his head. Through an outstanding action, after 87 minutes, Sten Häll successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Joel Karlberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Peter Jernberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. Peter Jernberg recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 95th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After having played for 96 minutes, Peter Jernberg managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sköldinge IF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Peter Jernberg was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ekshärad FK's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because Sköldinge IF had won, even though Ekshärad FK had held more of the ball.
