Spectators: 7259 (Terracing: 5446, Seating: 1669, VIP seats: 144) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Emanuel Tingberg started the match with the kick off. If Andy Skarkman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Söderåkra AIK's Emanuel Tingberg got a good chance for a goal in the 10th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Magnus Ström hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. In the 14th minute, Andy Skarkman got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ingmar Lindholm stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Emanuel Tingberg's shot from short distance in the 16th minute. Alfred Vennerberg charged in rather forcefully in the 19th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Alfred Vennerberg the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Söderåkra AIK's Alfred Vennerberg got a free kick in the 19th minute. In the 20th minute, Agne Vase got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Sigvard Bäckström's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Leif Sundling read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 22nd minute of play. Arvid Lindberg kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. The supporters of Hällefors booed when Söderåkra AIK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vincent Löfskog didn't get a good kick on the ball. Leif Sundling made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sigvard Bäckström in the 33rd minute of play. When the match had gone on for 33 minutes, Agne Vase took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Leif Sundling to make any attempt to save it. In the 37th match minute, Hällefors was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Magnus Ström to maneuver through the defense. Sigvard Bäckström was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 40th minute. Hällefors's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Emanuel Tingberg took the ball and in the 44 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ingmar Lindholm. Ingmar Lindholm dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Sigvard Bäckström to make the kick off. Agne Vase blasted a shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Leif Sundling having to make a save. When Hällefors's Sigvard Bäckström in the 55th minute got a chance for a shot 55th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Söderåkra AIK's goalie prevented a goal. Sigvard Bäckström received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Leif Sundling tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Hällefors's Sigvard Bäckström got a good chance for a goal in the 60th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Andy Skarkman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ingmar Lindholm having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Hällefors's Magnus Ström got a free kick in the 69th minute. In the 71stth minute of the game Emanuel Tingberg who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Hällefors's Ingmar Lindholm was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 75th minute, Jens-Ola Alebeck hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Söderåkra AIK were awarded a corner in the 77th minute after Hällefors's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Ulf Snell took the corner. The corner led to Söderåkra AIK's Bror Almqvist getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. After 82 played minutes Söderåkra AIK got a freekick which was hit by Alfred Vennerberg. In the 85th minute of the match Hällefors got a corner. Söderåkra AIK's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Freddie Busk ran over to the corner to take the kick. Freddie Busk made a great header on Hällefors's corner, it was just that Söderåkra AIK's Leif Sundling managed to reach the ball for a save. Leif Sundling made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sigvard Bäckström in the 87th minute of play. If Sigvard Bäckström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Emanuel Tingberg came up free with the goalie in the 95th minute, the Söderåkra AIK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Emanuel Tingberg couldn't finish the play. In the 97th match minute, Söderåkra AIK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alfred Vennerberg to maneuver through the defense. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
