The Sandstormens BK fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Sandstormens BK's Rolf Markusson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alf Engström in the 11th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Folke Nordstedt's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Alex Samuelsson was relentless in the 20th minute of the game. If Folke Nordstedt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 22ndth minute of the game Dick Holmberg who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but HENKES HÄNDIGA GRAPPAR's Alex Samuelsson was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Dick Holmberg took the ball and in the 25 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Alex Samuelsson. Alex Samuelsson dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Christer Hedlund charged in rather forcefully in the 28th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Christer Hedlund the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of HENKES HÄNDIGA GRAPPAR booed when Sandstormens BK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Christer Hedlund didn't get a good kick on the ball. Elias Söderquist received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Rolf Markusson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Alex Samuelsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dick Holmberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Alex Samuelsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dick Holmberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. Lars-Erik Knutsson kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. In the 44th minute Elias Söderquist shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rolf Markusson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Dick Holmberg was the one to do the kick off. Folke Nordstedt struck a weak shot in the 56th minute. Alex Samuelsson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sandstormens BK. In the 58th minute, John Dahlberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Dick Holmberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alex Samuelsson made a fantastic save in the 64th minute, when Dick Holmberg sent off a good shot on target. Alex Samuelsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Folke Nordstedt in the 67th minute of play. If Dick Holmberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alex Samuelsson made an important save on a dangerous shot by Dick Holmberg in the 73rd minute. The supporters of Sandstormens BK booed when HENKES HÄNDIGA GRAPPAR was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. When Sandstormens BK's Folke Nordstedt in the 84th minute got a chance for a shot 84th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye HENKES HÄNDIGA GRAPPAR's goalie prevented a goal. Dick Holmberg could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 92nd minute of the match, but Alex Samuelsson made a huge save. In the 96th minute, Kjell-Arne Arenius hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After recieving a nice pass, HENKES HÄNDIGA GRAPPAR's Holger Åström tried to score from far away in the 97th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. The HENKES HÄNDIGA GRAPPAR fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Sandstormens BK were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
