The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Aaron Lind hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. Klacksparksgänget IF's Claes Åberg proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 18th minute of the match, managed to save Klacksparksgänget IF from getting a goal against them. Dick Holmberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Rolf Markusson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kasper Kolberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. Klacksparksgänget IF's defense didn't have a chance, in the 26th minute, when Albin Anundsson scored to the left of an out of position Claes Åberg, making the score, 3-0. Aaron Lind charged in rather forcefully in the 35th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Aaron Lind the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 35th match minute, Klacksparksgänget IF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aaron Lind to maneuver through the defense. In the 39th minute, Dick Holmberg got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 42nd minute of the match, Dick Holmberg got a very nice opportunity to score, but Claes Åberg was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Dick Holmberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 48th minute. Claes Åberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 4-0.

A collision led to Klacksparksgänget IF getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Kåre Mikaelsson hit a great ball. After 55 played minutes Klacksparksgänget IF got a freekick which was hit by Börge Martinsson. If Dick Holmberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Folke Nordstedt received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Claes Åberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 62 minutes into the match, Klacksparksgänget IF's goal looked a bit too open when Dick Holmberg came free, but Claes Åberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 63 minutes into the match, Klacksparksgänget IF's goal looked a bit too open when Folke Nordstedt came free, but Claes Åberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Claes Åberg came out of the goal in the 67th minute to try and stop a shot by Sandstormens BK's Folke Nordstedt. But to his dismay, Folke Nordstedt quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-0. Claes Åberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Folke Nordstedt, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. 6-0 became the score in the 73rd minute when Dick Holmberg elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Claes Åberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Folke Nordstedt in the 77th minute of the match. In the 79th minute Albin Anundsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Claes Åberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 80 minutes into the match, Folke Nordstedt notched a goal, 7-0, to the right of Klacksparksgänget IF's Claes Åberg. Claes Åberg was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 84th minute Folke Nordstedt shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Claes Åberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Folke Nordstedt fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Claes Åberg having to interfere. In the 88th minute, Dick Holmberg left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Sandstormens BK fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 8-0. If Dick Holmberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Klacksparksgänget IF's zone, Folke Nordstedt stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Claes Åberg came out of the goal and Folke Nordstedt tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. There was no doubt that Sandstormens BK were the better team. Sandstormens BK's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
