Jerry Wennerqvist took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 27th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Richard Skröder. Leamington Brakes's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Åke Classon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Göran Flinck in the 30th minute of the match. Åke Classon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Göran Flinck, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. 33 minutes into the match, Jonsered's goal looked a bit too open when Vilgot Ekerot came free, but Åke Classon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
