The supporters of Gullbergs Kaj booed when PowRiders was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ragnar Rosén didn't get a good kick on the ball. A hard shot 21 in the game by Sigvard Lidberg from a close distance when the talented Erik Rydberg managed to make a qualified save. PowRiders's players were relieved. Sune Sundberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tom Dahlgren having to interfere. Tom Dahlgren didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Sune Sundberg went, in the 34th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. If Sigvard Lidberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Gullbergs Kaj players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. PowRiders were winning 0-1.

The wind increased when Alf Lundberg made the kick off in the second half. PowRiders's Erik Rydberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Allan Hermansson in the 52nd minute of play. 55 minutes into the match, PowRiders's goal looked a bit too open when Allan Hermansson came free, but Erik Rydberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sigvard Lidberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Erik Rydberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some careless play in the PowRiders defense, Sigvard Lidberg kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Erik Rydberg. The PowRiders fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Erik Rydberg should have stopped the shot. In the 66th minute, Kenny Larsson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ragnar Rosén hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. Gullbergs Kaj's Tom Dahlgren played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aaron Hedberg in the 77th minute of play. In the 87thth minute of the game Alf Lundberg who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but PowRiders's Erik Rydberg was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Sigvard Lidberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Erik Rydberg having to interfere. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 91st minute of the game. One of PowRiders:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Gullbergs Kaj:s goal. In the 93rd minute there was a penalty for Gullbergs Kaj. Sven-Edvin Tomasson stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Erik Rydberg. 2-1. After a rather tough play, PowRiders's Klas Kilman got a free kick in the 96th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 97th minute, Alf Lundberg managed to get in a good position for a shot. Gullbergs Kaj's supporters rose to their feet, but Alf Lundberg was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Erik Rydberg breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Gullbergs Kaj's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
