Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Pål Näfver to make the kick off. Kjell-Arne Nyman didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Manchester United. In the 73rd minute, Ingmar Albom left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Manchester United fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-4. Ingmar Albom could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 76th minute of the match, but Kjell-Arne Nyman made a huge save. 83 minutes into the match, Manchester United's goal looked a bit too open when Ronny Lindqvist came free, but Johannes Eliasson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Ronny Lindqvist had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
