Spectators: 6689 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1689, VIP seats: 0) Börje Sigfridsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bo Vennerkvist, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. Jonas Klint fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sven Beneth having to interfere. Sven Beneth made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nils-Emil Nordlund in the 15th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Vallda FF's zone, Nils-Emil Nordlund stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sven Beneth came out of the goal and Nils-Emil Nordlund tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 20th minute, Jonas Klint left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The fc hgld fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. After 23 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Vallda FF! When the match had been going on for 24 minutes, fc hgld's Stig Örn got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Sven Beneth. A collision led to fc hgld getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Ingvar Delin hit a great ball. Bo Vennerkvist recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 27th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. fc hgld's Börje Sigfridsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jonas Nyman in the 30th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 35th minute, Bo Vennerkvist managed to get in a good position for a shot. Vallda FF's supporters rose to their feet, but Bo Vennerkvist was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Börje Sigfridsson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Nils-Emil Nordlund sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Bo Vennerkvist made a kick off. In the 51st minute, Jonas Klint left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The fc hgld fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-1. Jonas Klint received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Sven Beneth tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sven Beneth stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Nils-Emil Nordlund's shot from short distance in the 75th minute. When Bo Vennerkvist came up free with the goalie in the 81st minute, the Vallda FF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bo Vennerkvist couldn't finish the play. After a defensive mix-up in fc hgld's zone, Kennet Josefsson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Börje Sigfridsson came out of the goal and Kennet Josefsson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Kennet Josefsson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Börje Sigfridsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 89 played minutes Bo Vennerkvist rounded fc hgld's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 4-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jonas Klint in the 93rd minute of play forced Vallda FF's goalkeeper Sven Beneth to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bo Vennerkvist sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The fc hgld players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
