Kennet Josefsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ralf Biörkman having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Kennet Josefsson in the 39th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ralf Biörkman prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Ralf Biörkman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bo Vennerkvist in the 43rd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kennet Josefsson in the 45th minute of play forced Huaröd's goalkeeper Ralf Biörkman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bo Vennerkvist received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 48th minute. Ralf Biörkman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

The wind increased when Bo Vennerkvist made the kick off in the second half. Ralf Biörkman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bo Vennerkvist in the 55th minute of the match. Bo Vennerkvist was extremely unlucky when he, in the 57th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. 57 minutes into the match, Bo Vennerkvist dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Ralf Biörkman, 0-2. The crowd rose to their feet as Bo Vennerkvist kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Ralf Biörkman. That made the score 0-3 in the 60 minute of play. In the 63rd minute, one of Huaröd:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Huaröd. When Bo Vennerkvist came up free with the goalie in the 68th minute, the Vallda FF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bo Vennerkvist couldn't finish the play. Claes Sigfridsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sven Beneth having to interfere. Johnny Linquist could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 75th minute of the match, but Ralf Biörkman made a huge save. In the 79th minute, Vallda FF's Kennet Josefsson dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-5. In the 83rd match minute, Vallda FF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bo Vennerkvist to maneuver through the defense. When Bo Vennerkvist came up free with the goalie in the 86th minute, the Vallda FF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bo Vennerkvist couldn't finish the play. After a defensive mix-up in Huaröd's zone, Johnny Linquist stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ralf Biörkman came out of the goal and Johnny Linquist tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Kennet Josefsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience thought a goal was coming when Johnny Linquist got free with Ralf Biörkman in the 98th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Vallda FF's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
