Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Leonard Strand started the match with the kick off. 3 minutes into the match, Hovås IF's goal looked a bit too open when Leonard Strand came free, but Emil Ivarsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Hovås IF's Emil Ivarsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leonard Strand in the 5th minute of play. Leonard Strand took the ball and in the 6 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Emil Ivarsson. Emil Ivarsson dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. 10 minutes into the match, Hovås IF's goal looked a bit too open when Leonard Strand came free, but Emil Ivarsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Stig-Arne Pålsson took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 12th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Emil Ivarsson. Hovås IF's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 13thth minute of the game Eric Ryberg who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Troxy FC's Arvid Boklund was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Eric Ryberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Arvid Boklund tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Inge Månsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Emil Ivarsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Inge Månsson in the 20th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Inge Månsson in the 21st minute of play forced Hovås IF's goalkeeper Emil Ivarsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Emil Ivarsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leonard Strand in the 24th minute of the match. In the 25th minute the ball was on its way in behind Troxy FC's goalkeeper Arvid Boklund, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 29th match minute, Troxy FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Stig-Arne Pålsson to maneuver through the defense. In the 32nd minute, Leonard Strand made a precise shot to the right of Emil Ivarsson. Hovås IF's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. 36 minutes into the game, Troxy FC's Leonard Strand nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Emil Ivarsson made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. Hovås IF's Emil Ivarsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leonard Strand in the 40th minute of play. Henrik Söderlund sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Emil Ivarsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leonard Strand, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 46 minutes into the game, Leonard Strand cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-4. Emil Ivarsson was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Eric Ryberg stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Emil Ivarsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leonard Strand, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. Inge Månsson could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 56th minute of the match, but Emil Ivarsson made a huge save. Hovås IF's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Boris Lundström 57 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 0-5. With a little luck, Hovås IF's Emil Ivarsson got control of the ball when Inge Månsson tried to sneak it across the goal line. 62 minutes into the match, Troxy FC's goal looked a bit too open when Eric Ryberg came free, but Arvid Boklund reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Leonard Strand came up free with the goalie in the 64th minute, the Troxy FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Leonard Strand couldn't finish the play. A collision led to Hovås IF getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Sten Brodin hit a great ball. Eric Ryberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arvid Boklund having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leonard Strand in the 72nd minute of play forced Hovås IF's goalkeeper Emil Ivarsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 73rd minute, Gustav Göransson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Troxy FC's Leonard Strand got a free kick in the 79th minute. In the 81st minute, Troxy FC's Leonard Strand ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Emil Ivarsson. Emil Ivarsson yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-6. In the 90th minute, one of Hovås IF:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Hovås IF. After some fancy dribbling in the 96th minute, Sten Brodin managed to get in a good position for a shot. Hovås IF's supporters rose to their feet, but Sten Brodin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Arvid Boklund breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 101st minute Troxy FC were awarded a corner. Gabriel Enström went to the cornerflag to take it. The goalkeeper smacked the ball away after a great corner, but Ivar Ennegren advanced and headed the ball into goal, 0-8 in the 101st minute. The Troxy FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Troxy FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
