Spectators: 6698 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1698, VIP seats: 0) Lidköping's Stig-Ove Lundström started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Lidköping's Verner Wallander played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gert Fastesson in the 3rd minute of play. Verner Wallander took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gert Fastesson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gert Fastesson in the 7th minute of play forced Lidköping's goalkeeper Verner Wallander to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 8 minutes into the game, Karl-Johan Hansson was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Lidköping's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Krokom IFK the free kick. After a rather tough play, Lidköping's Karl-Johan Hansson got a free kick in the 8th minute. In the 10th match minute, Lidköping was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jörgen Sandström to maneuver through the defense. When the match had gone on for 17 minutes, Herman Lilja put it in 1-1 from a short distance just to the right of Nils Asplund. Lidköping's Verner Wallander played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gert Fastesson in the 22nd minute of play. In the 23rd minute, Stig-Ove Lundström got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Stig-Ove Lundström fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nils Asplund having to interfere. In the 29th minute Herman Lilja shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nils Asplund saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match clock showed 30 minutes, the score became 1-2 when Herman Lilja sped through Krokom IFK's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Nils Asplund. If Gert Fastesson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lidköping's Verner Wallander proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 41st minute of the match, managed to save Lidköping from getting a goal against them. 43 minutes had been played when some careless play by Lidköping's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Mikael Brummer was slow to take the kick. During this time Krokom IFK's players had a chance to rest. Krokom IFK were awarded a corner in the 45th minute after Lidköping's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Mikael Brummer took the corner. Mikael Brummer made a great header on Krokom IFK's corner, it was just that Lidköping's Verner Wallander managed to reach the ball for a save. The Krokom IFK players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Lidköping were winning 1-2.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Gert Fastesson to strike the kick off in the second half. When the match clock showed 54 minutes, the score became 2-2 when Gert Fastesson sped through Lidköping's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Verner Wallander. Stig-Ove Lundström sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Stig-Ove Lundström recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 65th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Petter Carlsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Verner Wallander having to interfere. Lidköping's Verner Wallander played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Petter Carlsson in the 78th minute of play. Nils Asplund showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Stig-Ove Lundström, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. If Stig-Ove Lundström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Aron Dalgren kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. Stig-Ove Lundström sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 94th minute, Stig-Ove Lundström fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Lidköping players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
