Ingvar Danielsson ran back to his position shaking his head. 16 minutes into the match, Gårdsjö IFK's goal looked a bit too open when Cristopher Peralta came free, but Kristian Knutsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sidnei Gaspar's late challenge caught a Gårdsjö IFK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Sidnei Gaspar helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Hagby FF's Sidnei Gaspar got a free kick in the 20th minute. In the 28th minute, one of Gårdsjö IFK:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Gårdsjö IFK. Adrian Siöberg walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. Kristian Knutsson stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Sidnei Gaspar's shot from short distance in the 32nd minute. After 33 minutes, Edgar Fristedt mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Gårdsjö IFK and the Hagby FF players grew even worse after the yellow card. The Gårdsjö IFK supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Hagby FF's performance. The match ended with a win for Hagby FF.
