After a rather tough play, Southwest Coyotes's Andréas Deckberg got a free kick in the 24th minute. Arvid Botvidsson was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 27th minute. FC McGinnians's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. In the 29th minute Bo-Erik Kvalfält shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Yngve Nordin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Arvid Botvidsson had several of the Southwest Coyotes's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 30 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-1 score and a disappointed Evert Benet as he didn't even see the shot coming. Edvard Sundling charged in rather forcefully in the 39th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Edvard Sundling the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 40th minute of the match Josef Almkvist sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Yngve Nordin skillfully saved the ball. Arvid Botvidssons short, quick shot in the 42ndth minute got Evert Benet to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Yngve Nordin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jerry Josefsson in the 43rd minute of play. Yngve Nordin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kevin Östlund in the 44th minute of the match. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Arvid Botvidsson to make the kick off. In the 54thth minute of the game Arvid Botvidsson who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Southwest Coyotes's Evert Benet was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Evert Benet showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arvid Botvidsson in the 58th minute of the match. In the 59th minute the ball was on its way in behind Southwest Coyotes's goalkeeper Evert Benet, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Edvard Sundling recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 66th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Arvid Botvidsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Southwest Coyotes's Evert Benet played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arvid Botvidsson in the 77th minute of play. Arvid Botvidsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Evert Benet having to interfere. If Edvard Sundling had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Evert Benet tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. FC McGinnians had played much better football throughout.
