Spectators: 7039 (Terracing: 5237, Seating: 1659, VIP seats: 143) Lars-Erik Hedlund made the kick off and thus started the match. 7 minutes into the match, Horn RK's goal looked a bit too open when Lars-Erik Hedlund came free, but Edvard Söderqwist reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Edvard Söderqwist made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lars-Erik Hedlund in the 8th minute of play. Patrik Gulliksson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Evert Benet tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Southwest Coyotes's Evert Benet played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Patrik Gulliksson in the 13th minute of play. The attack was good, but when David Gunnarsson in the 14th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Bo-Erik Kvalfält in the 27th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Edvard Söderqwist saved Horn RK from getting behind. 0-1 became the score in the 33rd minute when David Gunnarsson elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. When Jerry Josefsson fell near the penalty area in the 36th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Southwest Coyotes's protests and gave Jerry Josefsson a yellow card for diving instead. Jerry Josefsson hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. The supporters of Horn RK booed when Southwest Coyotes was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kevin Östlund didn't get a good kick on the ball. Southwest Coyotes's Evert Benet played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Patrik Gulliksson in the 43rd minute of play. With an all-out effort, Southwest Coyotes's Edvard Söderqwist threw himself towards the right post 45 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Lars-Erik Hedlund, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After some fancy dribbling in the 46th minute, David Gunnarsson managed to get in a good position for a shot. Horn RK's supporters rose to their feet, but David Gunnarsson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Evert Benet breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. David Gunnarsson was the one to do the kick off. Edvard Söderqwist showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ingvar Wennerberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. 55 minutes into the match, Patrik Gulliksson notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Southwest Coyotes's Evert Benet. Evert Benet was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Horn RK's Patrik Gulliksson got a good chance for a goal in the 59th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 66 minutes into the match, Southwest Coyotes's goalkeeper Evert Benet had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Patrik Gulliksson. Patrik Gulliksson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Southwest Coyotes's zone, David Gunnarsson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Evert Benet came out of the goal and David Gunnarsson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, Southwest Coyotes's Kevin Östlund got a free kick in the 75th minute. If Patrik Gulliksson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Southwest Coyotes getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Kevin Östlund hit a great ball. 80 minutes into the match, Horn RK's Magnus Hellbom broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. David Gunnarsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Patrik Gulliksson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Evert Benet tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Lars-Erik Hedlund fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edvard Söderqwist having to interfere. Patrik Gulliksson came free with the goalkeeper in the 98th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Evert Benet could save by the left post. Horn RK's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
