Magnus Wennerlund received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Magnus Wennerlund made the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in Djurgården's zone, Magnus Wennerlund stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Henry Friberger came out of the goal and Magnus Wennerlund tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Roger Bergman hit a great ball. 75 minutes into the match, Christer Ingemarsson had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Conny Dalkvist. Vallda's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Christer Ingemarsson was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-1. 84 minutes into the game, Magnus Wennerlund was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Vallda's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Djurgården the free kick. After a rather tough play, Vallda's Magnus Wennerlund got a free kick in the 85th minute. 90 minutes into the match, Vallda's goal looked a bit too open when Edgar Caspersson came free, but Conny Dalkvist reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Georg Wahlström fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Henry Friberger having to interfere. For all the effort they put into the match, the Vallda players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Djurgården.
