The tension between the Djurgården and the Björkvik IK players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 4th minute, Eskil Elg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Zebastian Lindblom sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Djurgården's Henry Friberger played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zebastian Lindblom in the 12th minute of play. 13 minutes into the match, Björkvik IK's goal looked a bit too open when Adam Hjelm came free, but Börje Siggman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zebastian Lindblom in the 15th minute of play forced Djurgården's goalkeeper Henry Friberger to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Henry Friberger made an important save on a dangerous shot by Claes Skoglund in the 22nd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adam Hjelm in the 24th minute of play forced Björkvik IK's goalkeeper Börje Siggman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 26th minute, Christer Ingemarsson left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Djurgården fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. In the 39th minute, Zebastian Lindblom fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Henry Friberger, passed just outside the right post. 41 minutes into the match, Björkvik IK's Claes Skoglund sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Henry Friberger narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 41 minutes into the game, Edgar Caspersson was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Djurgården's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Björkvik IK the free kick. After 41 played minutes Djurgården got a freekick which was hit by Edgar Caspersson. In the 42nd minute, Zebastian Lindblom reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Henry Friberger. The goal made the score 2-1. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Adam Hjelm stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 52ndth minute of the game Zebastian Lindblom who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Djurgården's Henry Friberger was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Claes Skoglund in the 55th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Henry Friberger prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With a little luck, Björkvik IK's Börje Siggman got control of the ball when Christer Ingemarsson tried to sneak it across the goal line. 65 minutes into the match, Björkvik IK's goal looked a bit too open when Adam Hjelm came free, but Börje Siggman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 67 played minutes Djurgården got a freekick which was hit by Eskil Elg. If Christer Ingemarsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Claes Skoglund in the 73rd minute of play forced Djurgården's goalkeeper Henry Friberger to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Edgar Caspersson hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. In the 84th minute of the match Billy Kråk shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Henry Friberger showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Djurgården's zone, Zebastian Lindblom stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Henry Friberger came out of the goal and Zebastian Lindblom tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Henry Friberger stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Zebastian Lindblom's shot from short distance in the 89th minute. The audience was convinced that Claes Skoglund's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Henry Friberger was relentless in the 91st minute of the game. Zebastian Lindblom received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Henry Friberger tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 93 played minutes Djurgården got a freekick which was hit by Edgar Caspersson. Henry Friberger made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zebastian Lindblom in the 96th minute of play. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Björkvik IK fully deserved thier win.
