Erland Sjögren tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Erland Sjögren showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from John Kullgren, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. Team Maltträsk's Erland Sjögren played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Melker Forsman in the 32nd minute of play. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Oscar Qvalfeldt couldn't finish the play. Erland Sjögren made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emanuel Söder in the 40th minute of play.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Emanuel Söder to strike the kick off in the second half. With a little luck, Team Maltträsk's Erland Sjögren got control of the ball when André Aleberg tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 56th match minute, Team Maltträsk was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Oscar Kiempe to maneuver through the defense. Patrik Joensson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Oscar Qvalfeldt, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 65 played minutes, Team Maltträsk's Michael Björnberg shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Patrik Joensson came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Team Maltträsk reached it. 66 minutes into the game, Stig Strand was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Dark Star's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Team Maltträsk the free kick. After 66 played minutes Dark Star got a freekick which was hit by Stig Strand. Team Maltträsk's Robin Nordstedt got a good chance for a goal in the 67th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Patrik Joensson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Robin Nordstedt, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. André Aleberg hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. In the 75th minute, Melker Forsman got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 77th minute, Dark Star's Emanuel Söder ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Erland Sjögren. Erland Sjögren yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-1. 82 minutes into the game, Melker Forsman cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-2. Erland Sjögren was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Oscar Qvalfeldt fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Patrik Joensson having to interfere. Patrik Joensson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Robin Nordstedt, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
