Vincent Klemensson stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Kim Alén's shot from short distance in the 3rd minute. 7 minutes into the game, Johannes Stålman recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Fabian Bocklund. Johannes Stålman showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. In the 11th minute, Rasmus Rosen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 12th minute, Kim Alén made a precise shot to the right of Vincent Klemensson. Vrena's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. The audience was convinced that Kim Alén's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Vincent Klemensson was relentless in the 16th minute of the game. Vincent Klemensson didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Kim Alén went, in the 29th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. Kim Alén sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Erik Arenstedt received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Vincent Klemensson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Kim Alén had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 39 minutes into the match, Lund's Erik Arenstedt sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Vincent Klemensson narrowly saved just below the crossbar.

Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Kim Alén in the 52nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Vincent Klemensson prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 57th match minute, Vrena was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Axel Tinglöf to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Vrena's Wilhelm Dusett got a free kick in the 61st minute. Vincent Klemensson made an important save on a dangerous shot by Kim Alén in the 66th minute. Vincent Klemensson came out of the goal in the 71st minute to try and stop a shot by Lund's Kim Alén. But to his dismay, Kim Alén quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-4. Johannes Stålman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Kim Alén might have been able to make a better finish in the 79th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Vincent Klemensson. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Kim Alén ran back to his position shaking his head. Fabian Bocklund showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Stefan Lövskog, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. After 86 minutes, Stefan Lövskog mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Vrena and the Lund players grew even worse after the yellow card. Stefan Lövskog kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. With his leg Vincent Klemensson managed to avoid a goal in the 91stth minute, when Lund's Kim Alén fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Vincent Klemensson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kim Alén in the 93rd minute of the match. Lund played a much better game than Vrena and deserved their victory. The Vrena players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
