Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000,
Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Joseph Gadd got the match started through his kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Helgum's zone, Lars-Erik Carlsson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sonny Vallengren came out of the goal and Lars-Erik Carlsson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Göran Säf recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 6th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Lars-Erik Carlsson scored 1-0 in the 7th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Sonny Vallengren, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Kent Hermansson kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. When Jesper Hökkvist came up free with the goalie in the 16th minute, the Helgum fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jesper Hökkvist couldn't finish the play. Kent Hermansson was shown his second yellow card after 16 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. The supporters of Helgum booed when Klässbol was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kent Hermansson didn't get a good kick on the ball. After recieving a nice pass, Helgum's Philip Wallengren tried to score from far away in the 17th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. After having played for 19 minutes, Jesper Hökkvist managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Helgum's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jesper Hökkvist was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Lars-Erik Carlsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice moves Lars-Erik Carlsson could shoot a difficult shot in the 25th minute, which Sonny Vallengren however easily saved by the left post. When the match had gone on for 28 minutes, Jesper Hökkvist put it in 1-1 from a short distance just to the right of Esbjörn Enström. When Michael Jespersson came up free with the goalie in the 33rd minute, the Klässbol fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Michael Jespersson couldn't finish the play. After 34 played minutes Helgum got a freekick which was hit by Stig-Ove Söderkvist. Klässbol's Göran Säf got a good chance for a goal in the 45th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.
When Klässbol's Lars-Erik Carlsson in the 54th minute got a chance for a shot 54th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Helgum's goalie prevented a goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 55th minute, Göran Säf managed to get in a good position for a shot. Klässbol's supporters rose to their feet, but Göran Säf was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sonny Vallengren breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Sonny Vallengren took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lars-Erik Carlsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Lars-Erik Carlsson blasted a shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Sonny Vallengren having to make a save. Göran Säf took the ball and in the 64 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Sonny Vallengren. Sonny Vallengren dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. Michael Jespersson struck a weak shot in the 67th minute. Sonny Vallengren didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Klässbol. Kent Kråk hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. Lars-Erik Carlsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 71st minute, Tony Söderström managed to get in a good position for a shot. Klässbol's supporters rose to their feet, but Tony Söderström was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sonny Vallengren breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Lars-Erik Carlsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 76 played minutes Helgum got a freekick which was hit by Joseph Gadd. Lars-Erik Carlsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sonny Vallengren having to interfere. Göran Säf sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 94th match minute, Klässbol was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Oscar Ferm to maneuver through the defense. In the 97th minute of the match Helgum got a corner. Klässbol's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Philip Wallengren ran over to the corner to take the kick. Klässbol's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
