West End United's Jonatan Björnberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bengt-Åke Rosendahl in the 17th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Kent Vallin in the 18th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jonatan Björnberg prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A collision led to West End United getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Johannes Björck hit a great ball. 20 minutes into the match, West End United's goal looked a bit too open when Kent Vallin came free, but Jonatan Björnberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 21 minutes into the game, Kent Vallin cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Jonatan Björnberg was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bengt-Åke Rosendahl in the 25th minute of play forced West End United's goalkeeper Jonatan Björnberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Kent Vallin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. West End United's Jonatan Björnberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bengt-Åke Rosendahl in the 30th minute of play. Bengt-Åke Rosendahl succeeded in the game's 32nd minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 0-2. In the 35th minute Kent Vallin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonatan Björnberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Österfärnebo IK fans' excitement grew in the 37th match minute when Österfärnebo IK's Kent Vallin looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Bengt-Åke Rosendahl to make the kick off. Österfärnebo IK's Frans Bäckström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jan-Åke Örtendahl in the 57th minute of play. Bengt-Åke Rosendahl sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Österfärnebo IK's Bengt-Åke Rosendahl got a good chance for a goal in the 63rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Kent Vallin's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jonatan Björnberg read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 68th minute of play. When Jan-Åke Örtendahl came up free with the goalie in the 76th minute, the West End United fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jan-Åke Örtendahl couldn't finish the play. In the 78th minute the ball was on its way in behind West End United's goalkeeper Jonatan Björnberg, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Sven-Olof Bodin charged in rather forcefully in the 83rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Sven-Olof Bodin the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 83rd minute of the game. One of Österfärnebo IK:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of West End United:s goal. In the 85th minute there was a penalty for West End United. Karl-Erik Sjöberg stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Frans Bäckström. 1-3. West End United's Jonatan Björnberg proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 96th minute of the match, managed to save West End United from getting a goal against them. Österfärnebo IK's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
