If Jan-Ove Åman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Through an outstanding action, after 27 minutes, Niclas Dalberg successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. The audience thought a goal was coming when Christopher Friberger got free with Niclas Dalberg in the 32nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 34 played minutes Öje got a freekick which was hit by Jimmy Lind. After some fancy dribbling in the 38th minute, Christopher Friberger managed to get in a good position for a shot. Öje's supporters rose to their feet, but Christopher Friberger was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Niclas Dalberg breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, Andy United FF's Sven-Ove Skager got a free kick in the 44th minute. In the 47th minute the ball was on its way in behind Öje's goalkeeper Paul Bure, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

Paul Bure made an important save on a dangerous shot by Nicklas Ånger in the 55th minute.
