Jakob Hammarbäck sent away a hard shot on goal in the 3rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Pär Gudmundsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tord Hellström in the 5th minute of play. Pär Gudmundsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Måns Pilgren, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. Jarl Spetz hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. Christian Brummer was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 10th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. After 18 played minutes Skee got a freekick which was hit by Vilhelm Backlund. When Tord Hellström came up free with the goalie in the 19th minute, the Ersmark fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tord Hellström couldn't finish the play. Pär Gudmundsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tord Hellström, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 23rd minute, Johannes Vallin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Skee's zone, Måns Pilgren stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Pär Gudmundsson came out of the goal and Måns Pilgren tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 30th minute Måns Pilgren shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pär Gudmundsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Skee's Pär Gudmundsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tord Hellström in the 33rd minute of play. After having played for 35 minutes, Måns Pilgren managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ersmark's supporters crossed their fingers, but Måns Pilgren was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Kristoffer Vennerlund made an important save on a dangerous shot by Harald Hellkvist in the 38th minute. Skee's Harald Hellkvist got a good chance for a goal in the 39th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Ersmark's zone, Harald Hellkvist stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kristoffer Vennerlund came out of the goal and Harald Hellkvist tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.
The wind increased when Tord Hellström made the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute, Tord Hellström got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 54 minutes, Jens-Ola Finnman mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Skee and the Ersmark players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 54th match minute, Skee was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jens-Ola Finnman to maneuver through the defense. Måns Pilgren could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 55th minute of the match, but Pär Gudmundsson made a huge save. 59 minutes into the game, Vilhelm Backlund was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Skee's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ersmark the free kick. After a rather tough play, Skee's Vilhelm Backlund got a free kick in the 59th minute. Måns Pilgren fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pär Gudmundsson having to interfere. Harald Hellkvist's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Kristoffer Vennerlund read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 64th minute of play. Vilhelm Backlund scored 2-0 in the 75th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Kristoffer Vennerlund, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Göran Ahlström kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. In the 80th minute of the match Christian Brummer sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Kristoffer Vennerlund skillfully saved the ball. After having played for 86 minutes, Vilhelm Backlund managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Skee's supporters crossed their fingers, but Vilhelm Backlund was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 89 minutes into the match, Ersmark's goal looked a bit too open when Vilhelm Backlund came free, but Kristoffer Vennerlund reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 92nd match minute, Skee was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Christian Brummer to maneuver through the defense. Tord Hellström might have been able to make a better finish in the 97th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Pär Gudmundsson. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Tord Hellström ran back to his position shaking his head. For all the effort they put into the match, the Ersmark players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Skee.
