Viktor Wallander fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Martin Wennerberg having to interfere. When Olov Söderquist fell near the penalty area in the 13th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Håknäs FF's protests and gave Olov Söderquist a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Håknäs FF getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Olov Söderquist hit a great ball. 14 minutes into the game, Team Ronny och Ragge's Viktor Wallander nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Martin Wennerberg made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. The crowd rose to their feet as Charlie Söderqvist kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Conny Söderquist. That made the score 1-1 in the 19 minute of play. In the 22nd minute, Team Ronny och Ragge's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Kent Böcklund fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Conny Söderquist took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Charlie Söderqvist, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice moves Kent Böcklund could shoot a difficult shot in the 26th minute, which Conny Söderquist however easily saved by the left post. In the 27th minute, Kent Böcklund made a precise shot to the right of Conny Söderquist. Team Ronny och Ragge's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. Jens-Ola Gerdberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Martin Wennerberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Håknäs FF getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Olov Söderquist hit a great ball. 39 minutes into the match, Team Ronny och Ragge's goalkeeper Conny Söderquist had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Kent Böcklund. Jimmy Bengtsson took the ball and in the 45 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Martin Wennerberg. Martin Wennerberg dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Kent Böcklund stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Kent Böcklund received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Conny Söderquist tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Reine Hedberg during the 55th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Team Ronny och Ragge's Reine Hedberg got a free kick in the 55th minute. Kent Böcklund sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Kent Böcklund had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Håknäs FF's Kent Böcklund got a good chance for a goal in the 65th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Jimmy Bengtsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After having played for 72 minutes, Jimmy Bengtsson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Team Ronny och Ragge's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jimmy Bengtsson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, Håknäs FF's Charlie Söderqvist got a free kick in the 73rd minute. Viktor Wallander received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Martin Wennerberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Håknäs FF's Martin Wennerberg proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 79th minute of the match, managed to save Håknäs FF from getting a goal against them. Kent Böcklund struck a weak shot in the 81st minute. Conny Söderquist didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Håknäs FF. When Gabriel Grep fell near the penalty area in the 83rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Team Ronny och Ragge's protests and gave Gabriel Grep a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Håknäs FF booed when Team Ronny och Ragge was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gabriel Grep didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 89th minute, Jimmy Bengtsson ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Martin Wennerberg was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-3. Conny Söderquist made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kent Böcklund in the 95th minute of play. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Team Ronny och Ragge eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
