Wictor Ström didn't get a good kick on the ball. Arvin Hedin stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Kristoffer Torsberg's shot from short distance in the 6th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Kristoffer Torsberg got free with Arvin Hedin in the 10th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Arvin Hedin made a fantastic save in the 14th minute, when Kristoffer Torsberg sent off a good shot on target. After a defensive mix-up in Viksjöfors FK's zone, Gilbert Berg stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Arvin Hedin came out of the goal and Gilbert Berg tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 28th minute, Kristoffer Torsberg managed to get in a good position for a shot. Glenser United's supporters rose to their feet, but Kristoffer Torsberg was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Arvin Hedin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The crowd rose to their feet as Glenser United's Gilbert Berg slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Arvin Hedin. That made the score 1-0 after 30 minutes of play. Arvin Hedin made a fantastic save in the 33rd minute, when Kristoffer Torsberg sent off a good shot on target. If Edwin Sjödin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rudolf Åström recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 41st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Edwin Sjödin struck a weak shot in the 45th minute. Anton Frykberg didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Viksjöfors FK. Kristoffer Torsberg who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 48thth minute tested the skills of Arvin Hedin when he managed to save the team from getting behind. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Edwin Sjödin to strike the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bo Jonsson in the 53rd minute of play forced Glenser United's goalkeeper Anton Frykberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 54th minute, Kristoffer Torsberg made a precise shot to the right of Arvin Hedin. Viksjöfors FK's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. In the 57th match minute, Viksjöfors FK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Manfred Browald to maneuver through the defense. Bo Jonsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Anton Frykberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tommy Sjögren hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. In the 77th minute the ball was on its way in behind Viksjöfors FK's goalkeeper Arvin Hedin, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When Rudolf Åström came up free with the goalie in the 81st minute, the Glenser United fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rudolf Åström couldn't finish the play. Gilbert Berg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gunnar Lund hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. Lucas Lindqvist's late challenge caught a Viksjöfors FK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Lucas Lindqvist helped the player get up and apologised. In the 94th match minute, Glenser United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lucas Lindqvist to maneuver through the defense. In the 97th minute, Lucas Lindqvist hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After recieving a nice pass, Viksjöfors FK's Tommy Sjögren tried to score from far away in the 97th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Viksjöfors FK's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
