The referee ignored Höllviken's protests and gave Jörgen Bäckman a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Vallsta IK's Verner Hedvall got a free kick in the 26th minute. Höllviken's Mårten Käcker played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vidar Tunberg in the 30th minute of play. Verner Hedvall recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 31st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 37th play minutes Verner Hedvall shot 0-3, a short shot which went by Mårten Käcker and just under the crossbar into goal. Vallsta IK's Verner Hedvall got a good chance for a goal in the 40th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 41st minute Vidar Tunberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mårten Käcker saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The long shot by Joacim Åberg in the 66th minute really tested Mårten Käcker's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Verner Hedvall kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Mårten Käcker. That made the score 0-4 in the 67 minute of play. Verner Hedvalls short, quick shot in the 71stth minute got Mårten Käcker to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 74th match minute, Höllviken was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Stig Brask to maneuver through the defense. Verner Hedvall struck a weak shot in the 76th minute. Fredrik Emander received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Mårten Käcker tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 88thth minute of the game Verner Hedvall who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Höllviken's Mårten Käcker was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Vallsta IK's Verner Hedvall got a good chance for a goal in the 90th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Ove Lennartsson came up free with the goalie in the 97th minute, the Höllviken fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ove Lennartsson couldn't finish the play. Vallsta IK's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
