Sven-Ove Klint started the match with the kick off. 3 minutes into the game, Fred Giliusson was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Lingbo's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave MIRASPÕR BK the free kick. In the 9th minute, Holger Drake hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Christer Sundberg came up free with the goalie in the 10th minute, the Lingbo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Christer Sundberg couldn't finish the play. In the 14th match minute, MIRASPÕR BK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Charles Kristiansson to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Niklas Gråberg in the 17th minute of play forced MIRASPÕR BK's goalkeeper Per-Arne Nilsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 19 played minutes MIRASPÕR BK got a freekick which was hit by Freddie Ambjörnsson. Niklas Gråberg's late challenge caught a MIRASPÕR BK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Niklas Gråberg helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of MIRASPÕR BK booed when Lingbo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Niklas Gråberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sven-Ove Klint fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Per-Arne Nilsson having to interfere. In the 31stth minute of the game Sven-Ove Klint who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but MIRASPÕR BK's Per-Arne Nilsson was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a defensive mix-up in MIRASPÕR BK's zone, Christer Sundberg stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Per-Arne Nilsson came out of the goal and Christer Sundberg tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When the match had gone on for 35 minutes, Sven-Ove Klint put it in 1-1 from a short distance just to the right of Per-Arne Nilsson. MIRASPÕR BK's Per-Arne Nilsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sven-Ove Klint in the 39th minute of play. In the 41st minute Christer Sundberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Per-Arne Nilsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Kurt Britz fell near the penalty area in the 44th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored MIRASPÕR BK's protests and gave Kurt Britz a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Lingbo booed when MIRASPÕR BK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kurt Britz didn't get a good kick on the ball.

Kurt Britz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Jens-Ola Käcker tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jens-Ola Käcker showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Charles Kristiansson in the 60th minute of the match. Sven-Ove Klint received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Per-Arne Nilsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 66th minute the ball was on its way in behind MIRASPÕR BK's goalkeeper Per-Arne Nilsson, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Christer Sundberg blasted a shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Per-Arne Nilsson having to make a save. Jens-Ola Käcker made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Charles Kristiansson in the 75th minute of play. Lingbo's Jens-Ola Käcker played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kurt Britz in the 80th minute of play. After 84 minutes, Christer Sundberg made it 1-2 with a short kick to the right side. MIRASPÕR BK's Per-Arne Nilsson tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kurt Britz in the 88th minute of play forced Lingbo's goalkeeper Jens-Ola Käcker to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Christer Sundberg's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Per-Arne Nilsson read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 97th minute of play. The Lingbo players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
