But to his dismay, Samuel Fribäck quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Tage Åhman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sebastian Söderström in the 16th minute of play. Harald Clementsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jimmie Ahlström in the 19th minute of play. In the 21st minute, Vitå's Jesper Lidberg dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. In the 25th minute, Bengt-Rune Målare hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Vitå's Eric Holmgren in the 30th minute got a chance for a shot 30th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye CaptainCowboys's goalie prevented a goal. Jimmie Ahlström sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Ove Uter fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Harald Clementsson having to interfere. Jimmie Ahlström struck a weak shot in the 41st minute. Harald Clementsson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for CaptainCowboys. In the 44th minute, Ove Uter got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

If Jimmie Ahlström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Tage Åhman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jesper Lidberg in the 58th minute of the match. Göran Brovall kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. It was a penalty for CaptainCowboys! Ove Uter's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Harald Clementsson read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 90th minute of play. Tage Åhman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eric Holmgren, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Birger Dusett fell near the penalty area in the 96th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Vitå's protests and gave Birger Dusett a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Vitå's Birger Dusett got a free kick in the 96th minute. CaptainCowboys's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
