Sebastian Brodin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Algot Brun having to interfere. Karl-Michael Bern sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the match had gone on for 20 minutes, Karl-Michael Bern put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Algot Brun. Karl-Michael Bern fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Algot Brun having to interfere. Algot Brun made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Karl-Michael Bern in the 29th minute of play. 33 minutes into the match, Karl-Michael Bern notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Stensjön FF's Algot Brun. Algot Brun was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 38th minute, Karl-Michael Bern made a precise shot to the right of Algot Brun. Stensjön FF's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. Elgereds SK's Thomas Utfal got a good chance for a goal in the 43rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Karl-Michael Bern received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Algot Brun tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Thomas Utfal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Karl-Michael Bern to strike the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kristoffer Valrot in the 51st minute of play forced Elgereds SK's goalkeeper Yngve Jönsätt to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Sebastian Brodin came up free with the goalie in the 52nd minute, the Elgereds SK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sebastian Brodin couldn't finish the play. In the 59th play minute Karl-Michael Bern came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Algot Brun. 0-4. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Karl-Michael Bern in the 63rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Algot Brun prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Vidar Albohm received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Algot Brun tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Karl-Michael Bern's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Algot Brun was relentless in the 68th minute of the game. After having played for 71 minutes, Sebastian Brodin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Elgereds SK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sebastian Brodin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Karl-Michael Bern came up free with the goalie in the 76th minute, the Elgereds SK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Karl-Michael Bern couldn't finish the play. After some fancy dribbling in the 77th minute, Thomas Utfal managed to get in a good position for a shot. Elgereds SK's supporters rose to their feet, but Thomas Utfal was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Algot Brun breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Karl-Michael Bern sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Thomas Utfal in the 80th minute of play forced Stensjön FF's goalkeeper Algot Brun to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 82nd minute, Olof Tillman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Karl-Michael Bern who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 83rdth minute tested the skills of Algot Brun when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Marc Biörling sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. When the match was over Elgereds SK could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Stensjön FF throughout the match.
