Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Peder Fridlund scored 1-0 in the 6th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Kjell Elg, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 8 played minutes Väring got a freekick which was hit by Emil Bäck. Ulf Gummeson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dennis Grubb in the 12th minute of play. Kjell Elg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pär Björkdahl in the 17th minute of the match. William Wahlström hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. Dennis Grubb sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 28th minute Douglas Hansson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ulf Gummeson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With his leg Kjell Elg managed to avoid a goal in the 31stth minute, when Väring's Peder Fridlund fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. When Östen Stenström fell near the penalty area in the 39th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Väring's protests and gave Östen Stenström a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Väring's Östen Stenström got a free kick in the 39th minute. If Douglas Hansson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Dennis Grubb made a kick off. In the 51stth minute of the game Peder Fridlund who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Harbo's Kjell Elg was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Roger Arvidsson hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. 56 minutes into the match, Harbo's Dennis Grubb sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ulf Gummeson narrowly saved just below the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pär Björkdahl in the 58th minute of play forced Harbo's goalkeeper Kjell Elg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Emil Bäck received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Kjell Elg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Pär Björkdahl had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When William Wahlström fell near the penalty area in the 80th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. Pär Björkdahl fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kjell Elg having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Väring's zone, Dennis Grubb stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ulf Gummeson came out of the goal and Dennis Grubb tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Douglas Hansson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Väring's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
