Spectators: 7271 (Terracing: 5455, Seating: 1672, VIP seats: 144) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Kim Bjursell made the kick off which started today's match. Fred Mellbad showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ulrik Holmgren, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. The supporters of Ekshärad booed when Mcayen United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Albert Holmgren didn't get a good kick on the ball. Vilhelm Wikander made in the 32nd minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Kim Bjursell. With a little luck, Mcayen United's Fred Mellbad got control of the ball when Ulrik Holmgren tried to sneak it across the goal line. After some careless play in the Ekshärad defense, Per-Erik Adelsköld kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Roland Blomqvist. The Ekshärad fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Roland Blomqvist should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Per-Erik Adelsköld in the 38th minute of play forced Ekshärad's goalkeeper Roland Blomqvist to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Ekshärad's Roland Blomqvist played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kjell-Arne Sjöberg in the 51st minute of play. A collision led to Ekshärad getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Kurt Myr hit a great ball. The long shot by Kjell-Arne Sjöberg in the 53rd minute really tested Roland Blomqvist's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Kim Bjursell received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Fred Mellbad tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Kjell Holmberg made in the 64th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Mcayen United's Albert Holmgren. The audience was convinced that Mats Wester's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Fred Mellbad was relentless in the 65th minute of the game. In the 67th minute Hugo Larsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fred Mellbad saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 69 minutes, Arman Willig mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ekshärad and the Mcayen United players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 69th minute, Arman Willig hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 74th minute, Kjell-Arne Sjöberg fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Roland Blomqvist made a fantastic save in the 76th minute, when Per-Erik Adelsköld sent off a good shot on target. With a little luck, Ekshärad's Roland Blomqvist got control of the ball when Frans Nordin tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a rather tough play, Mcayen United's Håkan Josefsson got a free kick in the 82nd minute. 84 minutes into the game, Kjell Holmberg cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-2. Fred Mellbad was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 90th minute Ulrik Holmgren shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fred Mellbad saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Tobias Snäll came up free with the goalie in the 94th minute, the Mcayen United fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tobias Snäll couldn't finish the play. Mcayen United succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Ekshärad had controlled the match.
