Gert Gerdberg could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 3rd minute of the match, but Tom Ståhlberg made a huge save. Lars Gerdberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gustav Wallman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 9 minutes into the game, Joar Ström cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Lars Gerdberg was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. If Ola Ljungberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ingmar Skager sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ola Ljungberg in the 23rd minute of play forced Mcayen United's goalkeeper Lars Gerdberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lars Gerdberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joar Ström, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. After 30 minutes, Gustav Snell mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Mcayen United and the Skagersvik players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 30th minute, Gustav Snell hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Skagersvik's attentive Torsten Bergström managed to snatch the ball when Casper Lundqvist made a throw-in in the 32nd minute of the game. After 33 played minutes Mcayen United got a freekick which was hit by Alvar Brandin. Lars Gerdberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ola Ljungberg in the 37th minute of play. Lars Gerdberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Christer Algren in the 46th minute of the match. A hard shot 48 in the game by Gert Gerdberg from a close distance when the talented Tom Ståhlberg managed to make a qualified save. Skagersvik's players were relieved.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Gert Gerdberg stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Jan-Olof Örtendahl made in the 52nd minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Christer Algren. In the 54th minute Gert Gerdberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tom Ståhlberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Jan-Olof Örtendahl fell near the penalty area in the 55th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Skagersvik's protests and gave Jan-Olof Örtendahl a yellow card for diving instead. In the 55th minute, Jan-Olof Örtendahl hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Ola Ljungberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gert Gerdberg kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. 72 minutes into the game, Gustav Wallman recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Lars Gerdberg. Gustav Wallman showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-2. After 77 minutes of play, Skagersvik's Ola Ljungberg made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Lars Gerdberg was left in no man's land by his defense there! Joar Ström kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. Ola Ljungberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Gert Gerdberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ingmar Skager struck a weak shot in the 92nd minute. Tom Ståhlberg didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mcayen United.
