The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Ingmar Skager's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Adrian Carlsson read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 7th minute of play. Casper Lundqvist kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. Lars-Erik Jonsson got a throw-in 13 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Karl-Axel Vallander. After a rather tough play, Mcayen United's Alvar Brandin got a free kick in the 14th minute. Lars Gerdberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Per Öberg in the 21st minute of the match. 23 minutes into the game, Per Öberg cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Lars Gerdberg was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Lars-Erik Jonsson made in the 27th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Mcayen United's Per-Arne Gadd. In the 29th match minute, GATO FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Egil Ström to maneuver through the defense. Per Öberg kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. Casper Lundqvist fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adrian Carlsson having to interfere. If Casper Lundqvist had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 46th minute, GATO FC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Gert Gerdberg fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post.

With a little luck, Mcayen United's Lars Gerdberg got control of the ball when Per Öberg tried to sneak it across the goal line. Mcayen United's Lars Gerdberg proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 63rd minute of the match, managed to save Mcayen United from getting a goal against them. Gert Gerdberg blasted a shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Adrian Carlsson having to make a save. 67 minutes into the match, GATO FC's goal looked a bit too open when Gert Gerdberg came free, but Adrian Carlsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Petter Kjellkvist hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. Ingmar Skager recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 77th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Karl-Axel Vallander during the 80th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 80 played minutes GATO FC got a freekick which was hit by Karl-Axel Vallander. The supporters of Mcayen United booed when GATO FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Petter Kjellkvist didn't get a good kick on the ball. 84 minutes into the game, Per Öberg cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Lars Gerdberg was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Alvar Brandin was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 90 minutes into the match. Mcayen United's Per-Arne Gadd managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Lars-Erik Jonsson in the 97 minute of the game.
