It was beautiful to see Hurva BK's Sixten Fagrell in action when he in the 9th minute dribbled his way through a couple of opponents and the fired away a shot from almost standing still. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance! Edwin Alén sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 16th minute Per-Arne Mellbad suffered a knee injury and had to be helped off the field. Sture Sundberg charged in rather forcefully in the 16th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Sture Sundberg the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Holmsjö Wings's Sture Sundberg got a free kick in the 16th minute. Edwin Alén sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Sven-Arne Backlund fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Håkan Almqvist having to interfere. Edwin Alén struck a weak shot in the 24th minute. Håkan Almqvist didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Hurva BK. After a rather tough play, Hurva BK's Edwin Alén got a free kick in the 29th minute. 34 minutes into the game, Holmsjö Wings's Kenny Torstensson nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Bror Lindqvist made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Håkan Almqvist made a fantastic save in the 38th minute, when Edwin Alén sent off a good shot on target. In the 40th minute, Edwin Alén ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Håkan Almqvist was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Edwin Alén fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Håkan Almqvist having to interfere. With a little luck, Holmsjö Wings's Håkan Almqvist got control of the ball when Lennart Enström tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Kenny Torstensson stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the match, Hurva BK's Edwin Alén sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Håkan Almqvist narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Edwin Alén sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Edwin Alén came up free with the goalie in the 61st minute, the Hurva BK fans jumped to their feet. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tobias Gallberg got free with Bror Lindqvist in the 70th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Edwin Alén sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Holmsjö Wings's zone, Dennis Alebäck stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Håkan Almqvist came out of the goal and Dennis Alebäck tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Dennis Alebäck received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Håkan Almqvist tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 95th match minute, Holmsjö Wings was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sture Sundberg to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 96 minutes, Edwin Alén managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Hurva BK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Edwin Alén was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Hurva BK were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing Holmsjö Wings to leave the ground with a draw.
