When the match clock showed 6 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Norberto Cucao sped through Holmsjö Wings's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Håkan Almqvist. Håkan Almqvist showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eddie Ahlberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 13th minute of the game. One of Obeh Fc:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Holmsjö Wings:s goal. Agne Hägert walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. 18 minutes into the game, Obeh Fc's Eddie Ahlberg nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Håkan Almqvist made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. The audience was convinced that Tobias Gallberg's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Saverio Cristofor was relentless in the 26th minute of the game. Sture Sundberg hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. Gunnar Hökkvist fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Håkan Almqvist having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Holmsjö Wings's zone, Gunnar Hökkvist stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Håkan Almqvist came out of the goal and Gunnar Hökkvist tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 37th minute, Gunnar Hökkvist fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Håkan Almqvist, passed just outside the right post. Saverio Cristofor came out of the goal in the 39th minute to try and stop a shot by Holmsjö Wings's Kenny Torstensson. But to his dismay, Kenny Torstensson quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. If Eddie Ahlberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ingvar Vedholm kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Kenny Torstensson stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Obeh Fc's Eddie Ahlberg got a good chance for a goal in the 53rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After having played for 57 minutes, Torsten Skager managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Obeh Fc's supporters crossed their fingers, but Torsten Skager was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Eddie Ahlberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Håkan Almqvist having to interfere. Håkan Almqvist showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gunnar Hökkvist in the 67th minute of the match. Eddie Ahlberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Håkan Almqvist tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Gunnar Hökkvist had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 84 minutes, Ingvar Vedholm mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Holmsjö Wings and the Obeh Fc players grew even worse after the yellow card. After some fancy dribbling in the 91st minute, Kenny Torstensson managed to get in a good position for a shot. Holmsjö Wings's supporters rose to their feet, but Kenny Torstensson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Saverio Cristofor breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Tobias Gallberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Saverio Cristofor having to interfere.
