Årby FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Axel Clementsson stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Sture Fredriksson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Casper Fagerberg who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 58thth minute tested the skills of Mattias Albom when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Karl-Ove Snell made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dick Eriksson in the 62nd minute of play. Axel Clementsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mattias Albom having to interfere. Fårösund IF's Tomas Blom got a good chance for a goal in the 64th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 66 minutes into the match, Tomas Blom notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Årby FC's Karl-Ove Snell. Karl-Ove Snell was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 74 minutes into the match, Årby FC's goal looked a bit too open when Tomas Blom came free, but Karl-Ove Snell reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 79 minutes, Sture Fredriksson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Fårösund IF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sture Fredriksson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Axel Clementsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mattias Albom took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Axel Clementsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, Fårösund IF's Mattias Albom got control of the ball when Casper Fagerberg tried to sneak it across the goal line.
