Dan Nordal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 10th minute, Ulf Odman managed to get in a good position for a shot. Oskarshamns AIK's supporters rose to their feet, but Ulf Odman was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dan Nordal breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 20thth minute of the game Evert Sjöö who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Bondi Beach Club's Dan Nordal was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Bondi Beach Club's zone, Ulf Odman stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dan Nordal came out of the goal and Ulf Odman tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When the match had gone on for 24 minutes, Evert Sjöö put it in 2-0 from a short distance just to the right of Dan Nordal. Dan Nordal made a fantastic save in the 31st minute, when Ulf Odman sent off a good shot on target. After a defensive mix-up in Bondi Beach Club's zone, Evert Sjöö stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dan Nordal came out of the goal and Evert Sjöö tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 35th minute, Oskarshamns AIK's Evert Sjöö ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Dan Nordal. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Evert Sjöö stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The Oskarshamns AIK fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-0. 59 minutes into the match, Bondi Beach Club's goal looked a bit too open when Evert Sjöö came free, but Dan Nordal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dan Nordal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Evert Sjöö, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. Evert Sjöö fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dan Nordal having to interfere. Ulf Odman recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 65th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 66 minutes into the match, Bondi Beach Club's goal looked a bit too open when Evert Sjöö came free, but Dan Nordal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 68th minute, Ulf Odman got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some careless play in the Bondi Beach Club defense, Evert Sjöö kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Dan Nordal. The Bondi Beach Club fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Dan Nordal should have stopped the shot. Dan Nordal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Evert Sjöö in the 80th minute of play. 82 minutes into the game, Oskarshamns AIK's Ulf Odman nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Dan Nordal made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 7-0. After having played for 85 minutes, Ulf Odman managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Oskarshamns AIK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ulf Odman was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Evert Sjöö had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Evert Sjöö recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 97th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When the referee ended the match the Oskarshamns AIK players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
