Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Stig-Åke Pilgren came out of the goal in the 4th minute to try and stop a shot by Djurgårdens IF's Hans Lundkvist. But to his dismay, Hans Lundkvist quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Hans Lundkvist sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A hard shot 11 in the game by Hans Lundkvist from a close distance when the talented Stig-Åke Pilgren managed to make a qualified save. FC City's players were relieved. Hans Lundkvist received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Stig-Åke Pilgren tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 17th play minute Hans Lundkvist came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Stig-Åke Pilgren. 2-0. After 20 played minutes Djurgårdens IF got a freekick which was hit by Anton Dalberg. 26 minutes into the match, Marcus Sjöberg notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of FC City's Stig-Åke Pilgren. Stig-Åke Pilgren was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Stig-Åke Pilgren took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aron Bark, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 36 minutes, Marcus Sjöberg mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Djurgårdens IF and the FC City players grew even worse after the yellow card. Hans Lundkvist sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, FC City's Aaron Hermansson got a free kick in the 42nd minute. Aron Bark received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Stig-Åke Pilgren tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 46th minute, Hans Lundkvist got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The supporters of Djurgårdens IF booed when FC City was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aaron Hermansson didn't get a good kick on the ball. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Sebastian Hydén stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 55 minutes into the game, Hans Lundkvist cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-0. Stig-Åke Pilgren was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Mårten Norberg struck a weak shot in the 60th minute. Alfred Låsberg didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC City. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Eddie Vibjörnsson during the 61st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Djurgårdens IF's Eddie Vibjörnsson got a free kick in the 61st minute. Hans Lundkvist fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Stig-Åke Pilgren having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in FC City's zone, Hans Lundkvist stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Stig-Åke Pilgren came out of the goal and Hans Lundkvist tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Stig-Åke Pilgren showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aron Bark, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. When Aaron Hermansson was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 75 minutes had been played. In the 76th minute, Aaron Hermansson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Hans Lundkvist had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 80th minute, Sebastian Hydén hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the match clock showed 82 minutes, the score became 5-0 when Hans Lundkvist sped through FC City's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Stig-Åke Pilgren. In the 88th minute Aron Bark shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Stig-Åke Pilgren saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 94th minute, Aron Bark managed to get in a good position for a shot. Djurgårdens IF's supporters rose to their feet, but Aron Bark was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Stig-Åke Pilgren breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. There was no doubt that Djurgårdens IF were the better team. Djurgårdens IF's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
