Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Aron Bark started the match with the kick off. Fredrik Ekenberg recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 6th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Anders Olofsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aron Bark, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Fredrik Ekenberg during the 9th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 12 minutes, Yngve Överman mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC City and the Djurgårdens IF players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 12 played minutes FC City got a freekick which was hit by Yngve Överman. Anders Olofsson didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Djurgårdens IF's Aron Bark shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 1-0 in the ordered_time% minute. William Lindholm sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 25th minute, Sven-Erik Blom managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC City's supporters rose to their feet, but Sven-Erik Blom was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alfred Låsberg breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Anders Olofsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Anton Dalberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. Hans Lundkvist hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aron Bark in the 30th minute of play forced FC City's goalkeeper Anders Olofsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 30 played minutes Djurgårdens IF got a freekick which was hit by Hans Lundkvist. William Lindholm blasted a shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Alfred Låsberg having to make a save. Yngve Överman blasted a shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Alfred Låsberg having to make a save. Linus Forsberg kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. If William Lindholm had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when William Lindholm made the kick off in the second half. Alfred Låsberg made a fantastic save in the 52nd minute, when William Lindholm sent off a good shot on target. Alfred Låsberg came out of the goal in the 57th minute to try and stop a shot by FC City's Sven-Erik Blom. But to his dismay, Sven-Erik Blom quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Anders Olofsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aron Bark in the 60th minute of play. If Yngve Överman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 67th minute of the match Eddie Vibjörnsson sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Anders Olofsson skillfully saved the ball. In the 76th minute, Aron Bark hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Anders Olofsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hans Lundkvist in the 77th minute of play. Djurgårdens IF's Alfred Låsberg proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 86th minute of the match, managed to save Djurgårdens IF from getting a goal against them. With a little luck, Djurgårdens IF's Alfred Låsberg got control of the ball when William Lindholm tried to sneak it across the goal line. Sven-Erik Blom received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Alfred Låsberg came out and tried to block the shot, but Sven-Erik Blom slotted it home off the left post making it 1-2 in the 90th minute. William Lindholm's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Alfred Låsberg read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 94th minute of play. FC City played a much better game than Djurgårdens IF and deserved their victory. The Djurgårdens IF players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
